6/4	Dennis Briede led a SCBC hike on the Rattlesnake Swamp and Appalachian Trails. Fourteen species of warblers were seen including 3 territorial Black-thr. Blues, Blackburnian, Black-thr. Green, Cerulean, Hooded & Worm-eating. Also seen were Blue-headed Vireo & Grouse.

Also a Brewster’s Warbler at the intersection of 615 & 640 in Sandyston. At Liberty Loop: 2 Dunlin, 20 Least S.P., 2 Semi-palmated S.P., 1 Gr. & 3 Ls. Yellowlegs, Pied-billed Grebe & C. Moorhen.
5/30	David Malone had a Brewster’s W. on the Dagmar Trail at the Wallkill NWR. Also, 4 Grasshopper Sp. in the same area.

5/25	Hardwick: At Ferla’s Pond, Dennis Briede had Pied-billed Grebes, DC Corm., Green Heron, C. Moorhen & Pine Warbler. At Grass Pond in Green twp.: 7 Va. Rails, 6 C. Moorhens, 2 Marsh Wrens, Orchard Oriole, Least F.C., Gray-cheeked Thrush, & a Hummingbird gathering cattail down. Also a female Bufflehead at a farm pond 1 mile up Mohican Rd. in Blairstown.

4/23	Sussex Branch Trail, Jefferson Lk: Allen Barlow had large #’s of Yellow-rumps, some Redstarts, La. Waterthrush & Bl-headed Vireo. He & Lynn Groves had a Yellow W. at Kittatinny Valley S.P.

Loons, 8 Long-tailed Ducks, & 3 Red-breasted Mergs. Little Swartswood had 4 RB Mergs. Kemah Lk. had 27 C. Loons & 5 RB Mergs. Culvers had 40 Common & 5 RT Loons. Also Blue-headed Vireo.
4/23	Swartswood Lake: Tom Halliwell and Tom Sudol had 3 Red-breasted Mergs., 50 Scaup (Gr. & Ls.), 9 Long-tailed Ducks, 2 Bonaparte’s Gulls and 10 C. Loons.

4/23	Culver’s Lake: Fred Weber had 16 C. Loons, 1 Red-throated Loon, 3 Red-breasted Mergs., 20 Ls. Scaup, 2 Bufflehead, 3 Ring-neckeds, 100’s of Tree Swallows and a few Barn and Rough-wings. Also, he has had 4 Siskins at his feeder for 2 weeks.

4/21	Michael Malone had 3 Black-throated Green W. at Tillman Ravine along with Phoebe, La. Waterthrush, many Blue-headed Vireos & Hermit Thrushes, Hairy & Pileated W.P. and Broadwing Hawk.

4/19	Fred heard a Grouse drumming on Sunrise Mtn. Rd. a couple of hundred yards past the Stony Brook Trail.

3/30	Hyper Humus: Dennis Pegg had 27 species including Gadwall, Ls. Scaup, C. Goldeneye, Phoebe and DC Cormorant. At Swartswood Lk. He had the same plus Ring-neckeds and C. Loon.

3/25	Karen Cichocki had pairs of Ring-neckeds, Shovelers, Swans and both Mergs. at the pond at Sid Taylor Rd. and Rt. 94 in Hampton.
3/25	David Malone had a female Redhead in a pond on Father John’s Ln. in Lafayette. The lane is off Rt 15 just south of the intersection with Rt 94.
3/22	Swartswood S.P.: Tom Sudol had Phoebe, Creeper, Bluebirds and Red-sh. Hawk at the beach. At a pond at Swartswood & Junction Rds.: Wood Ducks, GW Teal, Pintails, Ring-neckeds, both Mergs. And a GBH.

3/20	Liberty Loop: Andrew Sigerson had 100+ Pintails, 65 GW Teal, 50+ Hooded Mergs., 10 Wood Ducks, 30 Ring-necks, 20 C. Mergs., and other waterfowl. Also 2 Snipe and a Harrier.
3/17	Allen Barlow and Tom Halliwell had a pair of Redheads on Lk. Musconetcong.
3/16	Fred Weber had the Cackling Goose that was reported originally on the 7th. It was where Creek Rd. bends away from the Pequest R.; a half-mile north of the Kennedy Rd. bridge.
