12/30	Culvers Lake: Karyn Cichocki had an adult Bald Eagle on the nest by the lake. She also had two adults on a nest in Milford, PA.
12/30	Deb Kuhl had 16 Bald Eagles along the Delaware River along with a RS Hawk & 4 Red-tails. Also an Osprey near High Point.
12/29	Vernon: Deb Kuhl had an albino House Finch at her feeder. She also saw a Fish Crow.
12/28	Culvers Lake: Karyn Cichocki had an adult Bald Eagle over the Blue Ribbon inlet. She has two Fox Sparrows at her feeders in Lafayette.
12/23	Brian Hardiman had the N. Shrike directly behind the Calno School on Old Mine Rd. (mile marker 9; Delorme 22, D14)
12/21	Upper Delaware River area: An eagle trip led by Jack Padalino had 28 species of birds including 23 Bald Eagles, 8 RT Hawks, 2 Pileated WP, Raven. (For info on future trips, click the 'Search For Eagles' link under Field Trips.)
12/20	The Sussex CBC had 82 species. Highlights: 1 Horned Grebe (Culvers Lake), 3 Wood Ducks, 8 American Wigeon, 2 Redheads (Culvers), 8 Bald Eagles, 1 RS Hawk, 2 Kestrels, 4 Killdeer, 2 Iceland Gulls (Lake Mohawk), 1 LBB Gull (Lake Mohawk), 2 Catbirds, 1 Chipping Sparrow, 120+ Snow Buntings (a count record).
12/19	Walnut Valley CBC highlights: 4 Cackling Geese, 1 Golden Eagle, 17 Bald Eagles, 1 Peregrine Falcon, 2 Merlins, 110 Horned Larks, 40 Snow Buntings, 4 Common Ravens, 1 RB Nuthatch, 1 N Shrike, 2 Catbirds, 1 Brown Thrasher, 1 Savannah Sparrow, 40 Fox Sparrows, 1 possible Laughing/Franklin's Gull. Also, 1 Otter, 1 Red Fox, 5 Black Bears.
12/19	Fred Weber and Jack Padalino had a N Shrike about 150 yards south of the Calno School on Old Mine Rd. (roughly 3-4 miles south of Millbrook Village). On Culvers Lake (12/17) Fred had two Redhead Ducks & two Pied-billed Grebes.
12/16	Upper Delaware River area: An eagle trip led by Jack Padalino had 29 species including 20 Bald Eagles, 18 Red-tails, 2 Pileated WP, 24 E Bluebirds, 100 Cedar WW, 6 Ravens, Fox Sparrow. 12/14	Culvers Lake: Jack Padalino had 90 Goldeneye, 62 Ring-necks, 37 Hooded Mergs, 12 Common Mergs, 11 Buffleheads, 10 Ruddys, 3 Mallards, 10 Mute Swans, 5 RB Gulls.
12/12	Culvers Lake: Fred Weber had two Iceland Gulls (1 adult, 1 imm.), a RT Loon, a Long-tailed Duck, 25 Hooded Mergs, Common Mergs, 9 Ruddy Ducks, 6 Buffleheads, 20 Scaup sp and a pair of Pileated Woodpeckers.
12/12	Karyn Cichocki had a Screech Owl calling at her house in Lafayette. At Culvers Lake she had Buffleheads, Common Goldeneye, Hooded & Common Mergansers, and Gadwall.
12/11	Dennis Pegg reported a large flight of Snow Geese over the Stillwater area.
12/11	A Bald Eagle was reported flying over the Bella Vita Restaurant on Rt 23 in Wantage Twp.
11/24	Tommy Sudol had two Black Scoters and four Red-throated Loons on Culvers Lake. On Swartswood, a Common Loon.
11/21	Karyn Cichocki had a pair of adult Bald Eagles at a stick nest across Rt 206 from Culvers Lake.
11/18	Culvers Lake: Fred Weber had 4 female Black Scoters, a Common Loon & 30 Common Goldeneye, but no RN Grebe.
11/18	Karyn Cichocki had a pair of GHO calling near her house in Lafayette.
11/17	Culvers Lake: Fred Weber had the RN Grebe in the late afternoon along with a Horned Grebe.
11/17	Alan Boyd had the RN Grebe on Culvers Lake visible from the causeway at the back end of the lake. Also seen from the causeway were 4 Black Scoters and a dozen C. Goldeneye.
11/16	Fred Weber had a Red-necked Grebe on Culver Lake along with a Common Loon and 30 Ring-necked Ducks.
11/15	Dennis Briede had a late Spotted Sandpiper along the Delaware River at Walpack Bend.

11/9	Lafayette: Karyn Cichocki had a Junco & 3 Fox Sparrows in her yard.
11/9	Blairstown: Dennis Briede & Alan Boyd did a 'Big Stay' on Dennis' deck facing the Kittatinny Ridge. They had 40 species including 4 Bald Eagles, 3 GHO, 1 Screech Owl, 363 Robins, 3 Pileated WP, 4 Purple Finches, 1 RS Hawk, 3 Sharp-shins, 3 Coopers, 1 N Harrier, 5 Turkeys.
11/9	Sunrise Mtn: 1 Bald Eagle, 1 N Harrier, 1 Sharp-shin, 14 Red-tails, 5 Ravens.
11/8	Liberty Loop: John Fuller had 2 Bald Eagles, 5 N Harriers, 1 Red-tail, Shovelers, Buffleheads, Am Wigeon, GW Teal, Brant, a BC Night-heron. At Roy Rd in Wantage: Kestrel, Harrier, WC Sparrows, Clay-colored Sparrow.
11/8	Sunrise Mtn: 5 Bald Eagles, 1 Sharp-shin, 2 Red-shoulders, 19 Red-tails, 1 Golden Eagle, 6 Ravens.
11/7	Sunrise Mtn: 3 N Harriers, 1 Sharp-shin, 1 Coopers, 31 Red-tails, 1 Merlin, 1 Peregrine, 5 Ravens.
11/7	Hyper Humus: Jim Zamos reports that a large flock of geese on pond #1 contained at least one Cackling Goose and one Brant.
11/6	Sunrise Mtn: 9 Bald Eagles, 2 N Harriers, 7 Sharp-shins, 2 Coopers, 2 N Goshawks, 2 Red-shoulders, 58 Red-tails, 2 Golden Eagles, 8 Ravens.

11/3	Kittatinny Valley SP: Linda Matula had the Cackling Goose on White Pond. Also a pair of Purple Finches near the Twin Lakes outflow.

11/2	Lafayette: Karyn Cichocki had a pair of Purple Finches in her yard along with Robins, Cedar WW and a male Bluebird.
11/2	Scott Rando had 6 Buffleheads on Walker Lake in Shohola, PA.

10/30	While soaring in his glider, Bob Templin had 3 Golden Eagles & 2 Bald Eagles on the SE side of the Kittatinny Ridge near Blairstown.

10/29	Tom Sudol reports that a young Brant has been hanging around the dining hall at the Fairview Lake YMCA since 10/23.
10/29	Sunrise Mtn: 2 Bald Eagles, 2 N Harriers, 3 Sharp-shins, 2 Coopers, 1 Golden Eagle, 2 Red-shoulders, 33 Red-tails, 1 Merlin, 530 Crows, (245 of whom passed the shelter between 1:00-1:15 p.m.)
10/29	Kittatinny Valley SP: Tom Halliwell had an Orange-crowned Warbler, Fox, White-crowned, Savannah & Tree Sparrows, RS Hawk.
10/26	Sunrise Mtn: 3 Bald Eagles, 1 N Harrier, 8 Sharp-shins, 3 Coopers, 1 Red-shouldered, 83 Red-tails, 227 Crows (146 in one group).
10/26	Steve Fasciana had a Lesser Yellowlegs, 9 Killdeer, 4 GW Teal and an immature WC Sparrow at the back end of Lake Musconetcong.
10/26	Karyn Cichocki had a possible adult Laughing Gull near the entrance to the Sussex landfill in Lafayette.

10/25	Frankford Twp: Donna Traylor had a Brant in a hayfield near Plains & George Hill Rds. Purple Finch, Junco & WT Sparrows have been at her feeders.

10/25	Myrtle Grove: At the Brodhecker Farm on Rt 626, Alan Boyd had 50-60 Killdeer and about a dozen Am Pipits in two small ponds along the road.

10/24	Kittatinny Valley SP: Tim Clauss had 17 species including Vesper, Song, White-throated, Field & Lincoln's Sparrows, Palm Warbler, Marsh Wren, RC Kinglet and Coopers Hawk.

10/22	Kittatinny Valley SP: Tom Halliwell had 10+ Am Pipits in the plowed field near the south end of Twin Lakes. Across Goodale Rd he had a pair of Purple Finches and about 75 Palm Warblers.
10/22	Sunrise Mtn: 7 Sharp-shins, 1 Coopers, 2 Red-tails, 1 Merlin, 3 Ravens.
10/21	Sunrise Mtn: 7 Sharp-shins, 1 Coopers, 3 Red-tails, 1 Bald Eagle.
10/21	Kittatinny Valley SP: Tim Clauss had Vesper, Savannah, Song, White-crowned and possible Lincoln's Sparrows. Also RC Kinglet and Am Pipit at Twin Lakes.
10/21	Lake Musconetcong: Alan Boyd had two Dunlin, a Solitary and a Spotted Sandpiper at the back end of the lake. View the area from behind the baseball field at the end of Washington St. An adult Bald Eagle was on the island in the middle of the lake.
10/20	Sunrise Mtn: 2 Bald Eagles, 1 Golden Eagle, 2 Sharp-shins, 8 Red-tails.
10/19	Sunrise Mtn: 9 Sharp-shins, 15 Red-tails, 1 Red-shouldered, 3 Ravens.
10/19	Kittatinny Valley SP: Alan Boyd had one Vesper and several Savannahs along the path at the south end of Twin Lakes.
10/18	Kittatinny Valley SP: Joe Burgiel & Marge Barrett had a Gray-cheeked Thrush on the Sussex Branch Trail at it’s intersection with the path to the Twin Lakes parking lot on Goodale Rd.
10/18	Kittatinny Valley SP: Tom Halliwell had an Orange-crowned Warbler in the brushy fields across Goodale Rd from the Twin Lakes parking lot. Several Vespers, Savannahs & White-crowns continue along the trail at the south end of Twin Lakes. About 30 Rusty BB were at White Pond along the Sussex Branch Trail.
10/17	Kittatinny Valley SP: Wade & Sharon Wander had 8 species of sparrows at the south end of Twin Lakes including 2 Vesper & 2 White-crowned. A Marsh Wren was in multiflora near the sharp bend in the path.
10/16	Kittatinny Valley SP: Tom Halliwell had at least three Vesper Sparrows in a mixed sparrow flock at the south end of Twin Lakes. A Peregrine was near the parking lot by the airport at Limecrest Rd.
10/14	Kittatinny Valley SP: Tom Halliwell had a Vesper Sparrow & 5 WC Sparrows along the trail at the south end of Twin Lakes. A Raven was calling over the parking lot further up Goodale Rd.
10/14	Mt Arlington: At the old landfill, Steve Fasciana had 3 Vesper Sparrows along with Song, Swamp, Chipping, Field & White-throats. Also: E Towhee, Palm Warbler, Pileated WP, Phoebe, Catbird, Swainson's Thrush & RC Kinglets. Last week Lincoln's and Savannah Sparrows were present there along with an Am. Pipit. The landfill is a short walk from the end of Southard Rd. (DeLorme 24, K9)

10/5	Kittatinny Valley SP: Tom Halliwell had Nashville, BT Blue, BT Green, Magnolia, Yellow-rumped & Palm Warblers, C Yellowthroat, YB Sapsuckers, Lincoln’s, Swamp & Savannah Sparrows. White Pond had Ls Yellowlegs, Pectoral, Least, Spotted & Solitary Sandpipers, Killdeer & Snipe. Also, 50-100 Wood Ducks, Kestrel, Merlin, Osprey & C Nighthawk.
10/4	Sunrise Mtn: 26 Sharp-shins, 8 Coopers, 1 Kestrel, 2 Merlins, 4 Broad-wings, 2 Red-tails, 1 RB Nuthatch. Two Bald Eagles were at Lake Occquitunk in Stokes mid-afternoon.

9/24	Dennis Briede had a Whip-poor-will and a GHO calling behind his house in Blairstown.

9/21	Kittatinny Valley SP: Tom Halliwell had a Connecticut Warbler on the Sussex Branch Trail between Rt 206 & White Lake.

9/20	Blairstown: Dennis Briede & Alan Boyd did a ‘Big Stay’ on Dennis’ deck at the base of the Kittatinny Ridge. They saw 61 species of birds including 2 Bald Eagles, 1 RS Hawk, 131 BW Hawks, 3 Screech Owls, 3 Pileated WP, 2 RC Kinglets, 2 Wood Thrush, 143 Cedar WW, Magnolia, Cape May, BT Green & Prairie Warblers, 2 WT Sparrows. Also 4 Black Bears.

9/18	At Sunrise Mtn, Jack Padalino had 20 Osprey, 3 Bald Eagles, 18 Sharp-shins, 1 Red-shouldered, 806 Broad-wings, 3 Red-tails, 2 kestrels.
9/16	Sunrise Mtn: Jack Padalino noted 15 Osprey, 2 Bald Eagles, 14 SS Hawks, 4 Coops, 2160 BW Hawks, 4 Kestrels & a Connecticut Warbler. On 9/14: 6 Osprey, 9 SS, 8 BW & 1 RS Hawk. On 9/13: 2 Osprey, 1 Bald Eagle, 6 SS, 2 Coops, 12 BW, 1 RS Hawk & 1 Kestrel.

9/15	Stokes SF: At Camp Olympia on Flatbrook Rd, Fred Weber had 10 species of warblers, two Philadelphia Vireos, an Olive-sided FC & a Swainson’s Thrush. At Sunrise Mtn: 676 BW Hawks, 24 Sharpies, 5 Coops, 10 Ospreys, 5 Bald Eagles & 2 Kestrels. A Bay-breasted Warbler was with a flock of songbirds there also.
9/13	Sparta: Tim Clauss saw 18 species of birds including Am Redstart, BT Green Warbler, RE Vireo & a possible Bay-breasted Warbler.
9/11	Steve Fasciana had a Caspian Tern on Lake Musconetcong, best viewed from Koclas Drive on the Netcong side of the lake.
9/9	Fred Weber had an Olive-sided FC at Steam Mill in Stokes SF.
9/7	9/5: John Fuller had two YB Chats and a Br Creeper at Swenson's Meadow. On 9/6 he had a Chat and a Merlin on Sunrise Mtn. Liberty Loop 9/7: Two Bald Eagles, three N Harriers, GHO, RT Hawk, C Moorhen, Great Egrets, GBH's, three BC Night-herons, both yellowlegs, Solitary, Spotted and Least Sandpipers, both teal, Killdeer and Bobolinks.
9/6	Sunrise Mountain hawkwatch: Jack Padalino had eight raptor species: Bald Eagle (imm), American Kestrel, Broad-winged Hawk, Sharp-shinned Hawk, Red-tailed Hawk, Osprey, Turkey Vulture & Black Vulture.
9/6	Sparta Mountain: Pete Grannis reports hearing many flight calls of birds over his house just before daybreak. Most were probably Swainson’s Thrushes.
9/4	Alumni Field, Hackettstown: Steve Fasciana had a Lesser Yellowlegs, two Solitary Sandpipers, two Killdeer & two Least Sandpipers.

8/30	Blairstown: Dennis Briede & Alan Boyd did a Big Stay on Dennis’ deck facing the Kittatinny Ridge. They had 53 species of birds including: 2 C. Nighthawks, Screech Owl, many hummingbirds, 55 Cedar WW, Black Duck, RB Grosbeak, Baltimore Oriole, Scarlet Tanager, BT Green, Magnolia & Prairie Warblers, 3 Ravens, Brown Thrasher, Am Kestrel, RS Hawk, Coopers hawk, Osprey, 1 imm. 8/29	The Wallkill NWR ST Kite was seen throughout the day today in the usual spot. It was perched in a tree for some time and was seen as late as 4 p.m.

8/25	Liberty Sod Farm: Tom Halliwell & others had 75-100 Killdeer & 13 Horned Larks (adults & juveniles). Merlins were noted at Gibbs Rd in Allamuchy and at the entrance to Allamuchy State Park off of Rt 517.

A Wilson's Warbler was in cedars near the parking lot and a singing YB Chat was in a cedar grove just before the Prothonotary spot.

3/15	Andover Twp: Sandy McPhail heard Woodcock peenting in a field at the corner of Rt 206 & Limecrest Rd.
3/15	Hyper Humus: Jim Zamos, Wade Wander & Alan Boyd had two drake Eurasian Wigeons. One was on Pond 2 & one was on Pond 7. Two pairs of BW Teal & a Horned Grebe were also on Pond 2. A pair of immature Bald Eagles were perched in a large pine on the far side of Pond 1. (See the link to the left for a map of Hyper).

3/12	Portland PA: Sandy McPhail had a male YB Sapsucker at her feeder along with 3 Fox Sparrows & 30-40 Pine Siskins.
3/12	Old Mine Rd: Linda Matula had a Bobcat just north of the Calno School. Also, 2 immature Bald Eagles near Poxono & 2 RB Nuthatches at Watergate.
3/12	Hyper Humus: Alan Boyd had 2 Tundra Swans (Pond #1), a drake Eurasian Wigeon (Pond #2), numerous Am Wigeon, Pintails, Gadwall & GW Teal, a Horned Grebe, 2 Shovelers, several Snipe & Killdeer, and an immature Bald Eagle. (See the link at left for a printable Hyper map.)
3/11	Jack Padalino saw 500+ Snow Geese flying north over the Dingman’s Ferry bridge.
3/11	Alan Boyd had a Cackling Goose with Canadas at the western end of Budd Lake, visible from the old municipal building parking lot off of Rt 46.
3/11	Steve Fasciana had a female Canvasback and a dozen Common Goldeneye on Lake Musconetcong in addition to what he saw there yesterday.

3/7	Allamuchy: Peter Grannis & Dianna Wentink had about half a dozen WW Crossbills in the spot they have been seen recently on Rt. 517 at the Warren/Sussex line. (See posts below).

3/7	Kittatinny Valley S.P.: A field trip led by Tom Halliwell produced 46 species including WW Crossbills, Pine Siskins, RB Nuthatch & a Bald Eagle.
3/5	Bob Templin saw the Merlin previously reported on Maple Lane in Tranquility.
3/4	Mike Muller had the WW Crossbills previously reported at the Tranquility Cemetery on 3/3.
3/3	Alan Boyd had a dozen or so WW Crossbills at the Tranquility Cemetery, near the intersection of Kennedy Rd & Maple Lane in Green Twp. A Merlin was further up Maple Lane near the back entrance to Tranquility Farms. DeLorme 23, K26.
3/3	Both Mike Gannon & Joe Zurovchak reported seeing a dark-phase Rough-leg near Winding Brook Farm in Frankford Twp. This is about a mile and a half north of Ross’ Corner.
3/2	Frankford Twp: Donna Traylor reports 60+ Pine Siskins, one C Redpoll, a Fox Sparrow & a Brown Creeper at her feeders in the snow storm. Her high count for siskins was last week with 120+.
3/1	Rick Radis, Tim Koebel & Tim Vogel had 30+ WW Crossbills in the same spot as Tom H. (See below).
3/1	Allamuchy: Tom Halliwell had 30+ WW Crossbills along Rt 517 just north of the spot mentioned in previous posts. They were in spruces at the pull-off on 517 just where you cross from Warren into Sussex County. (DeLorme 23, K26).

2/28	Marge Barrett & Joe Burgiel had 8 WW Crossbills at the same spot in Allamuchy State Park. (See below).
2/26	Alan Boyd had 50-60 WW Crossbills in Norway Spruces at Allamuchy Mtn. S.P. From the town of Allamuchy go north on Rt 517 for 1.5 miles & turn right on the dirt road opposite Tranquility Farms Lane. The birds were near the Waterloo/517 trailhead gate. (DeLorme 23, K26).
2/25	Tim Clauss had about a dozen WW Crossbills feeding on spruces by the Sparta Fire Station.
2/22	Jim Zamos led a SCBC field trip in Warren & Sussex Counties. Fifty-two species were seen including: a N Shrike at the Bluet Tract south of Peter’s Valley (DeLorme 19, J10), 3 RS Hawks, 4 imm. Bald Eagles, numerous YB Sapsuckers, a flyover WW Crossbill & a RB Nuthatch.

2/21	Willowwood Arboretum, Chester: Tom Halliwell had about 10 WW Crossbills to the right as you enter the main parking lot from Bliss Rd. (DeLorme 30 I4).
2/21	Tim Clauss had a flyover Peregrine Falcon in his yard in Sparta.
2/18	Mike Muller reports a large flock of Snow Geese in a corn field at the corner of Rt 612 & Ervey Rd in Allamuchy.
2/17	Fred Weber & Jim Zamos had the Sandhill Crane flying over Liberty Loop south of Oil City Rd in the Wallkill NWR. It was flying NE to SW but they did not see it land. Only 1 Harrier was present at dusk and no SE Owls. (DeLorme 19, D28).
2/15	Jack Padalino had 2 Bald Eagles at the Dingman's Ferry Bridge. A female eagle was on a nest near Pond Eddy. Five more birds were at Rio Reservoir, incluing 3 doing courtship flights. A single eagle was perched where the Lackawacksen River flows into the Delaware River.
2/17	Dennis Pegg had WW Crossbills in evergreens near the maintenance yard at Stokes State Forest.
2/15	Ken Witkowski had a N Shrike on the south side of Kelly Rd in Vernon (DeLorme 19, G28). At Liberty Loop in the Wallkill NWR he had a Sandhill Crane & 4 SE Owls at dusk.
2/16	Lafayette: Karyn Cichocki had Siskins, 50+ Cedar WW, Bluebirds & a Yellow-rump in her yard.
2/16	Columbia Lake: Sandy McPhail had many Hooded & Common Mergs, 16 Pintails, Ring-neckeds, Buffleheads, Wood Ducks, Blacks & Mallards. Also about 40 Mute Swans with 1000’s of Canada Geese. At Halsey Lake there were a dozen GW Teal.
2/14	Hackettstown: Tom Halliwell had 4 WW Crossbills at Alumni Field. They were briefly in the Norway Spruces at the house by the football field. Also around the hatchery ponds: Catbird, Winter Wren, 4 Killdeer & many siskins at the feeders on the backside of the loop trail.
2/14	Frankford Twp: Marge Barrett & Joe Burgiel had an imm. N Goshawk on Plains Rd, just north of the fairgrounds. They also had 12-15 WC Sparrows on Roy Rd in Wantage.	Photo

2/13	Fred Weber had 3 immature Iceland Gulls & an immature Glaucous Gull at the Sussex County landfill in Lafayette. (Please see the link to the left for info on birding the landfill).
2/8	Bob Templin is getting over 100 Pine Siskins at his feeders near Waterloo, including several that may be of the ‘Green Morph’ variety. He also has numerous Purple Finches, some Red-wings and a Rusty Blackbird.
2/7	A SCBC Eagle trip led by Jack Padalino had 9 Bald Eagles along the Delaware & Lackawaxen Rivers. Also seen were a pair of RS Hawks and a pair of Pileateds.
2/5	Alan Boyd had a Brown Thrasher feeding with White-throats on Mooney Rd in Roxbury. He has up to 40 siskins coming to his feeders in Flanders.
2/2	Walpack: Deborah Kuhl had a Robin, an immature Bald Eagle, a pair of Sharpies & several Carolina Wrens along the Delaware River. She had 6 adult Bald Eagles along the Delaware at Hawks Nest & Sparrowbush NY. Just north of Sussex Borough on Rt 23 she had 2 Red-tails doing a courtship ritual over a field.
2/1	Lafayette: Karyn Cichocki had Yellow-rumps, GC Kinglets, Robins, Cedar WW & Pine Siskins in her yard. She saw a bat flying near Hibernia.
2/1	Old Mine Rd: Dennis Briede & Alan Boyd had 5 flyover WW Crossbills at the Bluet Tract, just south of Peter’s Valley. They had C. Redpolls mixed with siskins just north of the Calno school and near the Poxono boat launch. A RS Hawk was along the river north of the Calno school.
1/31	Wade & Sharon Wander had a longspur with 160 larks & 7 buntings on the south side of Shades of Death Rd about halfway between Long Bridge Rd & Gibbs Rd in Allamuchy.
1/30	Linda Matula had a Lapland Longspur with larks & buntings on Ervey Rd in Allamuchy. They were in a field across from a farm and mailboxes numbered 518-521. (DeLorme 23, K25)
1/30	Steve Fasciana had two Lapland Longspurs with larks & buntings at the farm on the corner of Long Bridge & Shades of Death Rd in Allamuchy. This is about ½ mile further along Long Bridge from where they were on 1/29. He also had the WC & Savannah Sparrows on Gibbs Rd.
1/29	Allamuchy: Alan Boyd had a Lapland Longspur with 75+ Horned Larks & 75+ Snow Buntings on Long Bridge Rd near the Pequest River (DeLorme 23, K24). He had a group of 11 Savannah Sparrows on nearby Gibbs Rd.
1/22	Steve Fasciana had 4 Wilson's Snipe at the Alumni Field hatchery ponds in Hackettstown.
1/19	Wantage: Rick Radis & Tim Vogel had 20+ White-crowned Sparrows at the Beemer Farm on Beemer Rd. (This is near the intersection with Sally Harden Rd - DeLorme 19, E24). They also had two Rough-legs on Oil City Rd.
1/17	Frankford Twp: Alan Boyd had a light-phase Rough-leg perched in a tree opposite Winding Brook Farm on Rt 565 (north of Ross’ Corner).
1/15	Lafayette Twp: Fred Weber had four Ravens on Snover Rd. a quarter-mile south of the intersection with Decker Rd. (DeLorme 24, A4)
1/14	Mike Muller had Horned Larks & Snow Buntings on manure along Creek Rd in Green Twp (near Trinca Airport).
1/10	Fredon Twp: Wade & Sharon Wander report that about 350 Snow Geese are in the corn stubble at the Crisman Farm on Fairview Hill Rd, about ¼ mile in from Rt 94. They had an Eastern Towhee along Rt 521 just north of White Lake in Hardwick. RS Hawks were visible on Maple Lane in Blairstown. A pair of Bald Eagles were perched on the north bank of the Paulins Kill on Paulins Kill Rd on the border of Blairstown & Frelinghuysen. Kingfisher & C. Mergs were there also. They had 3 Fox Sparrows, a sapsucker and an adult sharpie at their feeders in Fredon.

1/8	Glenn Mahler had a Greater White-fronted Goose in the fields near Newton Hospital where the Ross’ was reported on 1/7. He also has 50-70 Siskins coming to his feeders in Stillwater.
1/8	Wade & Sharon Wander report 80 Goldfinches & 60 Pine Siskins at their feeders in Fredon along with numerous Purple Finches.
1/6	Jon Feenstra had a Ross' Goose with Canadas in the fields of the Lentini Corn Maze just south of Newton Hospital on Rt 94. It was not present late in the afternoon.
1/5	High Point S.P.: Naturalist Kate Foord had a female WW Crossbill in a mixed species flock in Kuser Natural Area.

1/1	Susan Simovich & John Reed had a small flock of Siskins at their feeder in Jefferson Twp. They had up to a dozen Rough-legs in the Pine Island, NY area along with several Harriers.
